What's behind the cartoons...for non-history buffs:
SHOW OFF: According to ancient Greek myths, heroes on 'quests' included (working from far left to the front of the line):
-Theseus who killed the Minotaur in the labrynth at Knossos Palace;
-Jason who captured the golden fleece;
-Perseus who killed Medusa and returned with her head; and finally
-Hercules who completed not one, but 12 quests.
CONSTANTINE/AFTERLIFE:
Emperor Constantine 1 (aka Constantine the Great) was the first Roman emperor to profess Christianity and move the Empire into a Christian state. By doing so, he changed the culture and religion of ancient Rome effectively eliminating the many gods (including Zeus) and goddesses who had been worshiped for centuries by previous civilizations.
